Well, This Makes It Clear – Thanks, Carl :)

Those who were kind enough to respond to the post (now deleted) regarding confusion about two web sites, and another’s, that shared the same general topic (Christian Mystics) and echoed my template, thank you.
No note was kinder than the one sent from the person whose website was puzzled over.
I’m very sorry about the confusion that was engendered by the WordPress template. I did not realize that I was using the same template that you had previously chosen. As you know, WordPress has a variety of templates, and I chose the one that I thought was attractive and most suitable for a site on Christian mysticism. Obviously, you and I have similar taste.
Please accept my apologies — it was not my intention to mimic your site or to imply any connection between the two. As you will see, I have changed the template and have put up a disclaimer (and public apology) on my own site (which is intended to promote a book I am writing, which will be published next year). Incidentally, it’s always been my intention to re-design the site (and very possibly remove it from WordPress altogether); the current site is just a place-holder, as I will not have time to give the site any real attention until after the book is finished.
Once again, sorry for the confusion, and I hope this will not prevent a more amicable exchange between us going forward. As I said on my site, your site looks quite good, I’d much rather us be on friendly than adversarial terms.
Best regards, and again, with apologies,
Carl McColman
It seems that people who are interested in Christian Mystics do share good tastes — especially in web design. Thank you, Carl — it was just a jolt to get several emails from people wondering who you were with CM because nobody’d heard the name before in association with the site, etc. etc.
I’m sure everybody who comes to this site wishes you nothing but good things on your book, your site, and, further, appreciates your kind attitude. No disclaimer/apology is necessary, not at all. I hope you can see why it kind of raised issues which struck me out of the blue form readers, lol.
Let’s stay in touch. Everything that can be done to draw attention to the roots of and heart of Jesus’ message of experiencing God now, not at some future time, is holy and needed so badly in this world.
Brian
Wonderful news Brian! The Lord is so gracious…
AMEN,AMEN,AMEN!
Blessings to Carl. It’s truly amazing to be able to understand and experience God’s love in action.
